Extruders

The basic equipment of the extrusion process is an extruder unit or extruder, equipped with a die head. In an extruder polymeric material is melted, plastisized and then forced in a head. Here are presented different modifications of one and twin-screw extruders. Today, the twin screw extruder is more advanced, offering many advantages to the modern processor.  Therefore twin-screw extruders can process powder-like and granular materials, compositions with a dispersible filler, fusions and pastes, sticking to screw, and to create considerable pressures on plastics in the zone of exit from the barrel.
